During such treatment Dr. Calhoun will manipulate the joint to help the patient increase range of motion, decrease pain in the joint, decrease muscle tension in the region manipulated, and help the body to move better. Other treatments Dr. Calhoun utilities include soft tissue manipulation, cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, percussion therapy with Hypervolt, and selective stretching techniques. Soft Tissue Manipulation includes but is not limited to the doctor using his hands, elbows, or a set of tools along with a lotion to lubricate the skin to then work to remove restrictions in the patients tissue.
